The group exhibition curated by Marie Maertens presents works created during the residency by artists Yana Bachynska, \u017deljko Beljan, Tanja Boukal, Anetta Mona Chi\u0219a, Kamruzzaman Shadhin, Megan Dominescu, Bogdan Rata, Dan Visovan, Delia Popa, Mihaela Moldovan, Loredana Ilie, Donald Simionoiu,Bernhard Frue, Ilie Mihali, Christina Zurfluh, using textile and recyclable materials. The works reflect both local and cultural influences and contribute to critical research aimed at developing a strategic action plan for the sustainable development of our community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Linia Izei<\/em> exhibition marks the reopening of the Cultural Center in S\u0103cel. These cultural spaces have long been at the heart of Romanian village life, evolving from the first educational and cultural centers to communist propaganda tools, and now into dynamic community spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The exhibition not only preserves and protects intangible cultural heritage but also promotes more sustainable and eco-friendly practices. The showcased works include textiles, ceramics, wood, and recyclable materials, reflecting a unique blend of tradition and contemporary innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sustainable Development through Art in the Iza Valley<\/em> project is funded with the support of the General Secretariat of the Government through the Department for Sustainable Development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
